Sometimes people peg us into roles, habits, or characteristics that we would rather not define us—even people who love us dearly; especially people who love us dearly, perhaps. We want to grow beyond those traits, but it doesn’t seem like it’s in the cards for us. It seems like it may just be who we are. We at Beautiful Savior believe that God has the power to change the unchangeable. We believe it because we’ve seen it. We’ve seen him help people grow in ways they didn’t think they were capable of. We’ve seen him open people up to a whole new expanded world of thinking and being. 2 Corinthians 5:16-17 says, "…So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view… if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come."

We believe this kind of growth best happens in a group of people committed to accept you where you are while at the same time recognizing and empowering the person God created you to be. The Bible makes it clear that God has created us to need each other in this way. His plan for our personal growth involves each other.
